I have been known to be rather outspoken when tweeting about the subject of road safety but I didn’t expect this response when I commented on the RAC’s news item about: Cyclists ‘need space to stay safe’.

@DaveCameronNo10 As an ex driving instructor, I would say that safe driving has a lot to do with drivers or is dangerous driving OK by you?

So there we have it, some people don’t understand how it is that drivers can be a considerable risk to other! But then if you are a Twitter troll and not senior politician, you are bound to have opinions like that. Obviously the person behind that Twitter account is very unlikely to support the Pedal on Parliament campaign, but you can by signing the petition in the sidebar–>

Obviously cyclists just throw themselves at the cars of innocent drivers…
